Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
Q: Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
A: Typically we request only first month’s rent and your security deposit.
Q: How old do you have to be to apply?
A: 18 years old.
Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: We would love to refund your deposit to you. Please leave the place with no damages.
Q: Who needs a cosigner?
A: There are times you may need a cosigner. We assess your credit history and make that determination.
Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: Please visit our website to apply online.
Q: How do I pay rent?
A: You may mail your rent to our office - Smart Rentals 2309 S. Big Bend
Blvd. Maplewood, MO 63143 or pay through your tenant portal.
Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: There is a $200 non-refundable pet security deposit for up to two pets at 25lbs a piece.
Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: We will be sad to see you go but wish you well on your next adventure.
Please give us at least 30 days notice.
Q: Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
A: We are happy to provide general maintenance for our tenants.
If it is caused by our tenants, unfortunately they are responsible.
